Everything you need to know about using Blurii
Getting Started
1. Install Blurii from the Chrome Web Store
2. Click the Blurii icon in your Chrome toolbar
3. Choose a blur mode and start protecting your screen
4. Press Shift+Esc to toggle the toolbar on/off
Blur Modes
Text Mode
Select any text on the page to blur it. Perfect for passwords, API keys, or sensitive information.
Element Mode
Click any element (image, button, section) to blur it instantly. Great for UI elements.
Scroll Mode
Draw rectangles that move with the page as you scroll. Ideal for tables and lists.
Fixed Mode
Create blur zones that stay in place while you scroll. Best for sidebars and headers.
Settings & Features
Blur Intensity: Adjust the slider to control how blurred content appears
Lock Blurs: Prevent accidental removal of blurs during presentations
Auto-detect PII: Automatically find and blur emails, phone numbers, credit cards, and more
Custom Patterns: Add your own regex patterns to detect proprietary data formats

License Management
Activating Your License
- Click the Blurii extension icon in Chrome
- Enter your license key (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
- Click "Activate License"
- Your device is now activated and ready to use
License Plans
Perfect for individual use. Valid for 1 year.
Great for teams or multiple devices. Valid for 1 year.
For organizations. Lifetime license with no expiration.

Managing Devices
Viewing License: Click the extension icon → License tab to see your license details, plan type, and activation status.
Deactivating a Device: In the License tab, click "Deactivate License" to remove the license from this device. You can reactivate on the same or different device later.
Device Limits: Starter (1 device), Professional (5 devices), Enterprise (unlimited devices). If you reach your limit, deactivate a device before activating a new one.
Validation: Blurii validates your license every 24 hours to ensure it's still active.
Troubleshooting
License key not working?
Ensure you've copied the entire key including hyphens. Check that your license is still active.
All devices in use?
Deactivate Blurii on a device you're no longer using. Starter allows 1 device, Professional allows 5, Enterprise allows unlimited.
License expired?
Starter and Professional licenses are valid for 1 year. Enterprise licenses are lifetime and never expire.
